The limitations imposed by Apples rules hurt this app
I demoed the "real" version of this app before purchasing this on the App Store. I wish I had been able to demo this actual version, then I would not have purchased it from the AppStore. The "real" version is great, I worked flawlessly to find all the files and delete them in one click. The AppStore version, as advertised, makes you manually delete the files ONE BY ONE. I wasnt clear on the ONE BY ONE aspect of it. If you only have a couple files then its no big deal but after deleting twenty, ONE BY ONE I dont find that this app has saved me any time. And if you have do to do this often, then this program is not at all suitable.
Judgeing from the "real" version, this app has lot of great potential but the App Store version is seriously limited by Apples rules. I would sugest the software author get creative and figure a way to work around Apples barricades to usability and come up with a way to make the manual process of deleting a large number of files as few mouse clicks as possible. Assuming of course that the ideal approach to delete the files automatically as in the "real" version cannot be creativley included. Maybe a talk with Apple about how the rule is getting in the way of honest functionality that users want would be in order. A reasonable company that cares about its customers and developers would find a way to accomplish what is intended with the rule and at the same time help the developer give the users what they want. Fix this and Ill happliy change my rating.
