AppDelete Lite App Reviews

I had been using the full version of this app until I replaced my hard drive. I then downloaded the Lite version from the App Store, in hopes of removing a specific app but it had spread throughout 10-12 different locations. Yes, this app will show you EVERYWHERE a specific app is installed but you have to go to each of those paths manually to remove the file. (Which is time consuming being some apps install in 10-12 different locations. I would suggestion AppCleaner over AppDelete. Its free and does the exact samet thing but you dont have to trash all the files manually, it tracks them down, trashes them, all you have to do is empty the trash

Best uninstaller hands down always being updated so you can be sure that it will work with the latest Mac OS also great for new Mac users because it takes you directly to the files that need to be deleted this is good knowing where these files are kept helps you better understand your Mac.. I use it all the time Highly Recommended !!

This works well for me. Even though you have to delete via finder, its just a moment, who has time to serach for all of these files if you delete an app the usual way? The fact is you dont and the extra files remain on your Mac, the issue in the first place.

It finds all the files associated with an application. It lets you delete most of them in the AppDelete Lite app. As it states above, you may have to delete a few by hand. Compared to the difficulty of finding all these scattered application droppings myself, this is a lifesaver.

Its a practical app with easy to use interface. I do not mind doing some manual deleting as long as I do not have to search for all files associated with an application myself..

Great little app that has saved me frustration + time! Definitely worth the $3.99 investment.

There are some bad Apple apps out there, this HAS to top the list. It has ZERO capability beyond telling you which files to manually delete. A worthless POS.

Read the note at the top of the page. This app doesnt do much for $3.99 and I wish I could get my money back. This should be free and then maybe it would get more stars. The full version on the website works great though.

This is one of those apps that works if it is used the way it is meant to be used. I have been using this app before it was available on the app store. I have kept the app and the OS up to date I have never had an issue with. It does work

First time I tried to use it, it didnt work and when I tried to quit , it wouldnt. Tried using force quit and it hung my Mac up. Ended up having to shut completely down and shut off power to the Mac. Then when I re-booted the app was still there but at least it quit. I put it in the trash and am looking for something more reliable.

It can’t remove TotatlFinder correctly.

This only deletes parts of an app and the remaining you have to manully delete. it really make no sense what do you need a app like this if you have to do the work yourself. A big wast of money.

This app worked perfectly on Mountain Lion, but ever since I installed Mavericks it crashes upon opening.

Despite the manual deleting, there are a number of files that I would not know about otherwise without the assistance of this program. Like!

This app does what it says. I can delete all the associated files while deleting an app. No more searching through folders and lists to find all the files to delete.

Very good to unistall app for complete delete all files and chache…. The app show you where are the files and give you the oportunit of delete it or not - the best…! I know you can do it without this app, but this app save your time give you the list of files and folders connect to the app you want to unistall.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but when I want to delete something, I can’t do it. I drag the “Audacity" icon from the dock onto the AppDeleteLite screen but it won’t stay there. It just bounces right back to the dock. If I should be doing something else, please let me know. ADDITIONAL: I kept coming back to AppDeleteLite. I thought I must be doing something wrong. Finally, though, I relized that the problem was with this app, not with me. I just got tired of the many excuses it kept giving me for not deleting ALL of Audacity. I then tried the “No Trash” app. It didn’t do the job, either. Finally, I found “FileShredder,” and I had to go no futher. No excuses. No failures. It just did the job. It deleted things that I wanted to delete. So, let me recommend “FileShredder” for deleting things you no longer want.

Downloaded in hopes of streamlining app deletes on my Mac. But when apps were selected I got directed to open the location in Finder. In other words, Im ending up having to do what I would have without the app. So, this was a waste of $3.99.

Great APP!!! I had a pesky little program that wouldnt fully delete itself by just putting the icon into the trash. I have been scratching my head for over 2 weeks on how to delete it, then I ran across this pogram. AppDelete Lite worked perfect and completely got rid of my troublesome app.

I really appreciate the refund! Long story short i strongly disliked the app and i had to uninstal it. Thanks SO much for my refund! If you ever need to contact the app developer directly via email, i would highly recommend to do so. Super excellent service!
